Pastoral Care & Healing
Daughters of the King: As an international Order for women in the Episcopal Church, the Daughters undertake a corporate Rule of Life for the extension of Christ’s Kingdom through prayer, service, and evangelism. Prayer includes praying daily for parish needs and concerns and maintaining a prayer chain. Service comes under the direction of the rector. Monthly meetings, open to all women, include fellowship, prayer, and study
Licensed Eucharistic Visitors: These lay persons are authorized to take the consecrated elements in a timely manner following a celebration of Holy Eucharist to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, were unable to be present. Training and licensing is provided through the Diocese.
Order of St. Luke the Physician: OSL is an international, inter-denominational, Christian healing organization. Our chapter is dedicated to offering healing prayer in Jesus’ name to all who are in need. We are a Christian community of faith, prayer and service. We are a network of individual believers who come together to learn more about God’s healing love and the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives and bring wholeness.
Prayer Team: Members of the prayer team pray individually for the special intentions and needs of our parish and community.
